God blessed us with a jewel on April 11, 1940.  Karine went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2021.  She lived a full life, surrounded by her family that she loved dearly.  She was a dedicated mother and instilled strong Christian value in all of her children.

She didn't leave without touching the lives of so many.  Her passion was to serve God's people in their time of grief and need.  At one time in her life, as an usher, she would serve at 2-3 funerals a day, 3-4 days a week!   When asked why she did so much, she simply answered, "God is using me".

Just about everything she did (or had), she did abundantly.  She didn't have beanie babies, she hadl lots of them.  She didn't have a few pictures, she had tons of pictures.  She had lots of plants & flowers too!  If ever you were around her for any length of time you've heard her say "Give me my flowers while I can smell them".

It didn't stop with things.  Her character was virtuous, she didn't just love, she loved abundantly.  She forgave abundantly, she smile abundantly and she served abundantly.  Karine loved the Lord, her family, & her community abundantly and it showed.

Karine leaves to continue her legacy, Lee Marvin (Denise) Green, Kathleen Green-Murphy (preceded her in death); & Sharon Green; six grandchildren; James Mathis, III, Kailynn (Greg) Raspberry; Courtney Green, Cleveland Sparrow, III, Taylor Green and Micah Green, eight great-grandchildren; Destinee Mathis, Jayden Hunter, Christian Raspberry, Jordyn Mathis, Isiah Raspberry, Eli Raspberry, Royal Raspberry and Hazel Mathis.  She also leaves to cherish her memory, many relatives and friends, she shared her love abundantly to each and every one of them and leaving a tremendous mark on this earth.  She will be fondly remembered and truly missed.

Ms Green will lie in repose on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

As a global concern about Coronavirus (COVID-19) begins  to  have a impact on our community, we are taking necessary steps to ensure the safety of the families we serve and the community in general.  Some families are making the decision to postpone services while others have opted to move forward with a small gathering of close family and friends.

It is Cobb's Funeral Home policy, which lines up with the restrictions of our governor, Gretchen Whitmer, that all gatherings are limited to 20 people with a distance of 6 feet.
