Kenneth Collins was born in Akron, Ohio on May 19, 1956 to the union of the late James Edward and Marie Collins.  Hr was proceeded in death by his parents: James E. and  Marie Collins. Son: Jermaine Weaver, siblings: Betty Collins–Arnold and James E. Collins Jr.

Kenneth was educated in the Akron Public School System and a Military Veteran serving in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his children: Antoine (Tanisha) Stephens, Aaron (Jamelia) Woods, Devin Scruggs, Alexander Collins, Mya Collins and son in love Brandon (Natalie) Scruggs, 11 Grandchildren,  2 Great grandchildren, siblings: Gloria Jean Jennings, Claire Mae Riggins, Beverly (Jimmy) Valrie Deborah Ann (Charles) Logan and Latwan Marie Arnold.  Special friend Laura Vargo and a host of family and loved ones.

Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Oakland Church of Christ 23333 W. 10 Mile Rd., Southfield, Michigan. Family hour will begin at 9:00am and the service will immediately start at 9:30am.  Repast will follow immediately after the service.

Internment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, Michigan 48442
