Kenneth Griffin was born on May 23,1939 in Rochester Michigan.  He was the sixth of 12 children born to JD Griffin and Effie Long Griffin.

Ken as he was affectionately known, attended Rochester schools and was a 1957 graduate of Rochester High School. He served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged on July 21, 1960.  He pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration at Delta College, obtaining his degree in 1989.  Ken was a self-employed Automotive Technician, his automotive repair skills were recognized throughout the surrounding areas.

He departed this life on November 2, 2023, his parents; daughter, Marie Antoinette Griffin; sisters, Delores Griffin Burton and Yvonne Quince, brothers; Harold, Eddie, David, JD Jr, Carl, Bruce Griffin and Ronald Griffin all preceded him in death.

Ken leaves to cherish his memory including his children, Angela Griffin Davis, Julia Gilder Gillespie and Andre Gilder; Donna Martin and Rick Flores, who were like his children; his siblings Ruth Griffin Tillman, Gerald Griffin, and Sharon Kay Griffin; grandchildren, Jermaine Griffin, Darenda Gilder, Daren Jordan,Nacita Gilder, and Starlyn Griffin; 12 great grandchildren and 10 great, great grandchildren.  Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will begin at 11:30am and the service will start at 12:00pm.
