Larry Joe Long was born January 5th, 1954 to the late Will and Vallie Long.  Larry 71 Years of age, passed away at DMC Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan July 4th, 2025.

Larry graduated with honors from Pontiac Central High School, then shortly after, was employed with General Motors.  He loved music, sports and listening to gospel on the radio.  Larry loved his family and checking in on them from time to time to make sure that they are safe and healthy.

Mr. Long leaves to cherish his memory: children Myron Long, Waterford, MI, and Kendra Jones, Pontiac, MI: two grandchildren, Jabari Long, Orion Township, MI, and Jeremiah Long, Pontiac, MI.

Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will begin at 10:30am and the service will immediately start at 11:00am.  Interment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan.
