Laura Lee Walker of Pontiac departed this life on March 3, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband the late Rev. James S. Walker and her parents the late Hugh and Ruth Wims. Mrs. Walker is the mother of; Ruthie (Henry) Winfield, Rosealean Walker, Laura (Richard) Walker-Torres, James Walker, Jr., Mildred (Kevin) Feagins, Peter Walker, Leo Walker and the late; James Wesley, John Wesley, John Fitzgerald and Junie Walker. She is the Sister of; Mary (Charles) Kendrick, Claudette Nevils, Anne Mems, John (Betty) Wims. Two Sister-In-Laws Shirley Wims and Valarie Wims. Mrs. Walker has fourteen Grandchildren, twenty six Great-Grandchildren, and one Great-Greatgrand. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Wims and his wife Betty Wims, Ronald Wims, her sister Louise Stewart and her husband Charles Stewart and her sister Stella Winfield, three grandchildren James A. Walker, Michael Walker and Holly Feagins. Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Mrs. Walker will lie in repose on Friday, March 9, 2018, at Cobb's Funeral Home at 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan. From 12pm until 8pm. Mrs. Walker's celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11am at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church 174 Branch St., Pontiac, Michigan. The family will meet with friends at 10:30am at the church prior to the service. Mrs. Walker will be laid to rest at Perry Mount Park Cemetery of Pontiac, Michigan.
