Lawrence Michael "Mike" Pippen of Rochester Hills, Michigan, departed this life on November 28, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his parents; Theodore Pippen and Velma Scott Pippen, his brothers; James Pippen and Herbert Pippen, sisters; Cynthia Carthens and Barbara Jean (Gino) Douglas.

Lawrence was born and raised in Pontiac Michigan, on Wesson St.  He received his education in the Pontiac School District.  He also received an honorable discharged from the United States Army, he also retired from Pontiac Motor Division.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters; Alecia Pippen and Marcia Pippen, 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  Also survived by his sister-in-law; Rosalyn Pippen and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

Mr. Pippen will lie in repose on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm until 6:00pm.

Celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Welcome Missionary Baptist Church 143 Oneida St., Pontiac, Michigan.  Pastor Douglas Jones, officiating, family hour will begin at 10:30am and the service will start at 11:00am.  Interment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
