Linda Faye Stubbs of Pontiac, MI was born August 11, 1952 and made her transition January 3, 2024 at the age of 71.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Mae Smith and James Haynes.

Linda attended college and studied business, she was hired at General Motors and worked there for many years.  She went on to work at Pontiac School District, where she was loved for her kindness and southern hospitality.  During her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially those from "Sanford Arms".

She leaves to cherish her memories; special friend, Bernard Duckworth, siblings; Robert Lee (Margaret) Griffin, Elizabeth (Milton) Burkett, Albert Smith all of Pontiac, MI, and Harry James Jackson of New Orleans, LA., nieces and nephews; Yolanda Griffin Day, James D. (Danielle) Haynes, Shirley Renee Carr, Robin D. (Fred) Griffin-Foster, Diane Carr, Timothy Burkett, Keyanna (Antonio) McKinney and 7 great nieces and nephews.

Ms. Stubbs will lie in repose on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Cobb's Funeral Home Chapel 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm til 6:00pm.

Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Prospect Missionary Baptist Church 351 Prospect St. Pontiac, MI.  Rev. Derrick McDonald, Host Pastor and Minister Albert Smith, Eulogist.  Family hour will begin at 10:30am and service will start at 11:00am.
