Lonnie James Green of Pontiac, departed this life on December 31, 2017. Mr. Green is the husband of Cleo Irene Toles, the father of; Willie J. (Kay) Green, Carolyn D. Hatcher, Jo A. Green and Sandra L. (Nick) Nicholson, the brother of; Richard H. (Retha) Green, Ronald L. Green, Linda B. Green, Dr. Brenda G. (James) Cooper and was preceded in death by his first wife Catherine (Floyd) Green and five siblings. Grandfather of five and Great-Grandfather of two. Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Mr. Green was a lifetime member of Messiah Missionary Baptist Church of Pontiac, Michigan, and retired from General Motors.

Mr. Lonnie James Green will lie in repose on Friday, January 12, 2018, at Cobb's Funeral Home at 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan. From 12pm until 8pm. Mr. Green's celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, 11am at Cobb's Funeral Home Chapel. The family will meet with friends at 10:30am prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Green will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery of Pontiac, Michigan.
