Lore Musgraves was born on August 4, 1946 to Mr. and Mrs. Earl and Willie Mae Nelson in Simpson County Mississippi. She had eight siblings, Daniel "D.W.", Ola, Gennie Mae,
OK "Junior", Perve, Lorrine, Otis "O.W." and Earl.

In 1964 Lore moved to Pontiac Michigan where she worked and made friends.  Among those friends were wiser, motherly women whose advise and wisdom kept her grounded.

In 1970 she met Reece Musgraves, whom she married in 1976. They raised five children together, Loricia, Legenia, Maureece, Darenti and Vernisha.  They were also blessed with
grandchildren, Ivannaw, Willie, Chrishayne, Tamirez, Tansinee, Kiersten, Amethyst, Rianna, Jonathon, Ariel, Xavier, Lavender and 16 great-grandchildren.

On June 1 the LORD called her to rest. Waiting to receive her is her husband, Reece, her parents Earl OK and Willie Mae, Her siblings Daniel, Junior, Perve, O.W. and her great-
grandson, August.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her siblings Ola, Gennie Mae, Lorrine and Earl, cousiinsm nephews, nieces, brothers and
sisters-in-law and friends.

Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will begin at 11:00am and the service will immediately start at 12:00pm.  Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery., Pontiac, Michigan.
