Obituary

Louise (Lear) Moss of Auburn Hills, Michigan, made her transition on July 4, 2026, surrounded with her family.

Louise professed Christ at an early age where she was baptized at the Liberty Baptist Church in Pontiac, Michigan. In 1963 later joined the Newman A.M.E. Church, Pontiac, Michigan Under the leadership of Pastor Yolanda Whiten where she served as Stewardess, kitchen helper and other Ministries of the Church.

She later married her soulmate James (Buddy) Moss of Tuskegee Alabama.

Louise worked for General Motor & Other various jobs, but her main job was A Home Engineer where she loved taking care of her Family.

She Love Shopping, Traveling, Playing Cards, & most of all she enjoyed her Great & great grandkids.

Louise Reunited with the Love Of her life James Moss, Her Parents Neva & Louis Brown, Sisters in Love - Bobbi Brown, Ezell-Moss-Smith, and Sera Moss. Brothers In Love-George, Charles, Billy Joe, C C and Tommy Moss.

Louise leaves to celebrate her memories, her one and only child Michael (Norma) Moyè Of Farmington Hills MI, Grandchildren Michael A. (Chalana) Moyé Of Westland MI, Stefany (Michael) Calmes of Grayson GA and Norcara Moyè of Farmington Hills MI. Great -Grandchildren Mikayla Moyè and Avery Calmes. Brother Jewel (RJ)Brown of Pontiac Mi. Nieces Julia Brown of Pontiac MI, Myra  Brown of Waterford MI, Marla Magee of Waterford MI, Nina Brown of Clinton Township MI, Syria, and Symon Moss of Pontiac MI. Nephews Jule (Maney)Alona Brown of Pontiac MI, and Louis (Jr)(Gwen) Smith.  Great Nieces & Nephew Junisha (Nae-Nae), Asha & Myron. Wayne T. (Lavinia) Brown Uncle of South Holland, Illinois & Alice (Bae Bae) Baily; Aunt of Muncie In.  Special Family|Friends Hattie James, Gloria Maddox, Cassie Davis, Ann Dotson, and Many other Family & Friends!

Louise Moss will lie in repose on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 12pm - 4pm.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Newman A.M.E. Church 233 Bagley St. Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will begin at 10:30am and the service will start at immediately at 11:00am.  Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan, after the service.
