Lurialene "Lynn" Love of Pontiac, Michigan, peacefully passed on to Glory on Saturday, March 21, 2026.  Lynn was born on August 9, 1949 to the late Raymond and Dorothy Payne in Forrest City, Arkansas.  She was preceded in death by her parents; Raymond and Dorothy Payne, sons; Jimmy Lee Love, Eric Tyrone Love, siblings; Raymond Payne Jr., Izola Payne, Gertude Payne-Hill, Oanita Payne-Sumpter, Jimmy Lee Payne, granddaughter; Leona Love and grandsons; Jimmie Lee Love-Terry and Tracy Lane Cogdell Jr..

Lynn retired from GMC Truck and Bus after 27 years of service and was also a founding member of Welcome Missionary Baptist Church in Pontiac, where she faithfully served in the choir.  In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, dancing, spending cherished moments with her family, and being in the water.

Lynn leaves to cherish her memory: her beloved husband, Cleodus Love, son; Cleodus Love Jr. and daughter; Katrena Love-Ramsey of Pontiac, MI, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 3 sisters; Annie (James) Ivery, Juanita Scott, Rosezine Payne,  1 brother, Willie ( Clarissa) Payne and a host of nieces, nephews, God sisters, God children, family and friends.

The Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Welcome Missionary Baptist Church, 143 Oneida St., Pontiac, MI.  Family Hour will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the Homegoing Service to follow at 11:00 a.m.  Pastor Douglas P. Jones, officiating.  Interment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, MI immediately after the service.
