Martha (aka) "Chief" unfortunately departed this world after a very strenuous, but a courageous battle with cancer, she was surrounded by her loving family and friends in Beaumont Hospital, when she passes on July 28, 2020 at the age of 38.
Martha was a bright kinded spirit who loved life and enjoyed scholarly success by being a member of the National Honors Society and graduating from Pontiac Central High School class of 1999. She had a great affinity for aggressively pursuing her interest and her education by earning a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Social Work from Wayne State University. Martha was employed with Lowe's and held many positions during (18) years of dedicated service. Martha enjoyed fine cuisine cooking while creating her recipes that were hearty, delicate and full of flavor, just like her personality and zeal for life itself and dhe enjoyed golfing in her spare time. She had an indomitable spirit, coupled with a qwerty no-nonsense attitude that was infectious to her family and friends who truly knew her best. Martha idolized and loved the role models that genuinely inspired her, and they are Shirley Chlem, Aretha Franklin, Maya Angelou and Michelle Obama respectively.
Martha loved spending herctime in a worthy cause doing things that were beneficial to helping individuals who were less fortunate in our society. She was an avid lover for animals, and way fond of her cat Pooh and her childhood dog Cody and cared for them as they were her children.
Martha leaves to cherish her memories her parents, Elton Littles and Martha V.Jackson-Littles, brothers; L. Littles, IV, and Elton A.F. (Katrina) Littles, three loving nephews; Jeremiah Murray, Jalan Murray and Kahll DowRidge. Also survived by a host of auntie, uncles, cousins, extended family, friends and Esteemed Co-Workers.
Ms. Jackson-Littles will lie in repose on Monday, August 10, 2020 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac,Michigan from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 12 p.m. at Cobb's Funeral Home, family hour will start at 11 a.m.
As a global concern about Coronavirus (COVID-19) begins to have a impact on our community, we are taking necessary steps to ensure the safety of the families we serve and the community in general. Some families are making the decision to postpone services while others have opted to move forward with a small gathering of close family and friends.
It is Cobb's Funeral Home policy, which lines up with the restrictions of our governor, Gretchen Whitmer, that all gatherings are limited to 20 people with a distance of 6 feet.
May God continue to bless and strengthen all of you during this time.
