Martha Ann Whitaker of Pontiac, Michigan departed this life on August 6, 2022.

Martha Ann Whitaker, also known as "Franma" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was born on February 11, 1942, to the late Carolina Ashford and  Thomas James Reynolds.

Martha's life will forever be cherished in the lives of her loving children, Carol Staples and Wanda Staples, grandchildren; Princess Staples, Shanique (Emanuel) Staples, Timesha Sain, Autumn Jordan and Dewayne Jordan, great-grandchildren; Jacob Gordon, Jonathan Cody, J'yln Gordon, Paige Gordon, Robert Cody, Dream Jones, Kalayah Viverette, Emanuel James and Nyla Viverette.

Martha also leaves behind three siblings, Bettye Jo Reynolds, William P. Reynolds, Jr., and Rose Dubar and her loving cousin Eva Pickens.

Ms. Whitaker will lie in repose on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road in Pontiac, Michigan from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Prospect Missionary Baptist Church 351 Prospect St., in Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will start at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.  Rev. Derrick McDonald, officiating.  Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan.
