Marvin Lewis Poston of Twin Lake, Michigan (formerly of Pontiac,Michigan) departed this life on October 1, 2019.   He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife of 45 years, Venettie H. Poston; his mother, Fannie Sims; his children; Cheronda Poston and Marvin (Faith) Poston, II; his siblings, Ronald (Jackie) Roston, Desiree Milligan and Detrice Gates, his grandchildren; Marvin Lewis Poston, III, Jasmin Kudakwashe, Ellington Poston, Alastair Poston, Sydney Poston, London Poston and Abigail Kidd.  He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Buford Poston and his brother, Willie Buford Poston, Jr.  Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Mr. Poston will lie in repose on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.    Mr. Marvin Lewis Poston's Celebration of life will be held on Friday,  October 11, 2019 at 11 a.m. at New Mount Moriah International Missionary Baptist Church 313 E. Walton Blvd., Pontiac, Michigan.   The family hour will start at 10:30 a.m.  Mr. Poston will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan.
