Mary Evelyn "Evie" Alexander of Pontiac, Michigan departed this life on August 12, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas, Sr., and Mary Angeline Upshaw, her brother, John (Argusta) Thomas Upshaw, Jr., sister, Gwendolyn (Harold) Howse, her son, Earl "Buckie" Alexander and her daughter, Debra Alexander.  Also preceded her in death, Charles Felton Alexander and Sylvester "Bootsie" Spann.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Robert (Stacey) Alexander, Craig Alexander, Charles Alexander, Wendy Alexander, Rodger (Lisa) Alexander and Ray (Trosie) Alexander.  Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Mrs. Alexander will lie in repose on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road in Pontiac, Michigan from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road in Pontiac, Michigan, family hour will start at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.  Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan.
