Mary Catherine Marion-Neavins age 73, affectionately known by family and close friends as "Ducie", made her transition on June 13, 2024 in Pontiac, Michigan.  She was proceeded in death by her parents, Jaycee and Ruby Marion, sisters Ruth Barney and Angela Marion.

Mary was truly a special woman of God, she loved the Lord, life and her family immensely.  She was one of those people that never met a stranger, a giver to anyone who was in need, whether it be family or friends.  Her serving heart will continue to beat through her beautiful daughters, Yvette and Candace Brinker, Brandy (Steven) Chambers-Gibbs, (4th) daughter Fawn Conley and granddaughter Hailey Grace ; her adopted children, Albert and Annessa Jones, Dasha Childs, Devrionta and Tieree Powell, and Kwandell Fultz.

She is also survived by her sisters and brothers; Melvin (Oneice) Marion, Las Vegas, NV; Betty (John) Wims, Jaycee and Frances Marion, Mildred (Lavell) James, Marlene Marion and Darlene Marion-Fowlkes all of Pontiac, Michigan; and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.

Mary will lie in repose at Cobbs Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan. Thursday June 20, 2024 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

Homegoing celebration held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, family hour will begin at 11:00am and the service will start promptly at 12:00pm.  Pastor Timothy Lawrence, Jr. host pastor, Bishop Charles Johnson, III officiating.  Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, 216 University Drive, Pontiac, Michigan.
