Michael Louis Williams was born to the late Otis and Cecilia Precious Williams on September 3, 1958.  He was raised in the great city of Pontiac, Michigan and was educated in the Pontiac School District.  Mike, as he was known by family and friends, was a proud 1977 graduate of Pontiac Central High School.

Mike loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.  He looked for opportunities to continue to build a bond with his family and was known for walking with his nephew Spanky everyday.  Although he had no biological children, he won the hearts of his daughters Queda, Sharita and grandson Jamel.  He was committed to them and raised them as his own.  Mike enjoyed being a  part of their lives and took Jamel to play every chance he got.  He was honored to be called "dad and papa"!

Mike was a hardworking man and a recent dedicated employee of The Jay Shop in Pontiac.  His hobbies included fishing, bowling, shopping, playing cards and eating every chance he got.  He was also known for his clean shaved head, that he wore with pride.  Mike will forever live in our hearts and will truly be missed.

Michael Louis Williams departed this life on November 12, 2021.  He leaves to cherish his memory; sisters;  Fran Gooch, and Michelle Johnson of Pontiac, MI, brothers; Otis Williams of Richmond, VA, Stephen Williams of Madison Heights, MI and Brian Williams of Pontiac, MI, uncle John and Aunt Suzanne Williams of Quincy, Illinois, special friend Tawana Hodges of Pontiac, MI, special daughters; Shanquetta Moore and Sherita Moore and special grandson Jamel Hill and a host of other relatives and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by both parents, Otis and Precious Williams, sister; Stefanye Bass, brother, Kevin Williams, grandmothers; Frances Reed and Hazel Williams, brother in laws: Raymond Warren Johnson and Orin Gooch, nephews; Lloyd Saunders, III and Jurard Williams.

Mr. Williams will lie in repose on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held for Michael Louis Williams on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Welcome Missionary Baptist Church 143 Oneida St, Pontiac, Michigan, family hour will start at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.  Rev. Douglas P. Jones, officiating.
