Michelle Holmes of Pontiac, Michigan, made her transition on Thursday, August 15, 2024, surrounded with family.  She was preceded in death by her parents; Zab Homes, Sr., and Myrtle Holmes, brothers; Zab Holmes, Jr.

Michelle received her education from the Pontiac School System, graduating from Pontiac Northern High School.  She was well know in the community, she loved shopping for her kids and grandchildren, and loved spending family time with them.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children; Chelsea Holmes, Chad Holmes and JaVante (Makayla) Holmes, siblings; Jody (Philip) Holmes-Hobdy, Valerie Holmes and Phyllis Holmes, nieces; Lacresha Wright, Tameka Griffin and Shalonda Taylor, nephew; David Griffin, great nephews; Elijah & Isiah, grandchildren; J'Vonna Holmes, Dream Barkus and Malaki Holmes.  Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

She will lie in repose on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm - 8:00pm.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church 512 Pearsall St. Pontiac, Michigan.   Family hour will begin at 10:00am and the service will immediately start at 11:00am.  Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan.
