Norvalene White-Johnson was born on July 12, 1936 to the union of Elizabeth Alexander and James Amps, in Pontiac, Michigan.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter; Diane White-Christy, siblings; Robert Amps, James Amps, Maragret White, Joyce James and Lorraine White.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children; Manuel White, Jr., Darlene Hill, Linda White, Patrick (Jeannetta) White and Derron White.  Also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 11:00am at Welcome Missionary Baptist Church 143 Oneida St. Pontiac, Michigan, Rev. Douglas Jones, officiating.
