Ollie Mitchell Sr. of Pontiac, MI departed this life on February 14, 2018 at the age of 92. He was preceded in death by his wife the late Mary Mitchell, and his parents the late Ollie and Florence Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell is the father of; Larry (Betty) Mitchell, William (Pamela) Mitchell, Carla (Albert) Carmouche all of Pontiac, Michigan, LaWanda Mitchell of Marina Del Rey, CA, Mark (Tonya) Mitchell, Robert Mitchell, Marietta Mitchell Crew, Nikole Mitchell all of Pontiac, Michigan, Michael Chunn, Larry Pilgrim of Pontiac, Mi, and Ingrid Gilchrist of MD, the late; Ollie Mitchell Jr., Bradford Lee Mitchell and Keith Marcus Mitchell. Brother of; Lois Finley, Billy (Ruth) Mitchell Sr., the late; Ernest Williams, MaryLou Holmes and Claude Mitchell. One Sister in law; Delois McMillian. One Daughter in law; Karen Mitchell. He is the Grandfather and Great-Grandfather of many and also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Mr. Mitchell retired from General Motors Truck and Bus after 35 years of service, he was a U.S. Navy Veteran, A Member of the Masons.
Mr. Ollie Mitchell will lie in repose on Monday, February 19, 2018, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan. From 2pm until 8pm. Mr. Mitchell's Home going celebration will held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at 11am at Cobb's Funeral Home. The family will meet with friends at 10:30am prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Mitchell will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan.
