Pecola Geraldine (Armstrong) Smith was one of ten children born to Coy and Annie Mae Armstrong on February 20, 1933, Pontiac, MI. She graduated from Pontiac High School in 1951 and continued her education at Madonna School of Nursing in Ann Arbor, MI. Geraldine was a generous and vibrant spirit who raised a family in Pontiac and Detroit, while continuing her education and perfecting her career, retiring as a Psychiatric Nurse at Northville Psychiatric Center in 1995. She departed this life on June 2, 2018, leaving six children, five siblings, more than fifty grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and a host of loved ones to cherish her memory.  Ms. Smith will be laid to rest at Perry Mt  Park Cemetery of Pontiac, Michigan.
