Percy Patrick Jr. was born on December 14, 1954, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to the union of the late Hattie Mae and Percy Patrick Sr. Percy was called home to be with the Lord on June 5, 2026, at Trinity Health Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan.
Percy moved to Pontiac, Michigan, with his family at the age of ten, where he attended Pontiac schools and later became employed at Pontiac Motors. He loved music and enjoyed turning it up loud, often cruising the streets listening to Sade. Percy was also a devoted basketball fan who enjoyed watching games and talking sports with family and friends. He took great pride in his culture and African heritage and cherished every opportunity to be surrounded by family.
Percy was preceded in death by his parents, Hattie Mae and Percy Patrick Sr.; his sisters, Patsy Ann and Shelia Ray; and his brother, Timothy Wayne.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Terri, Candice, Kimberly, and Enjoli; his grandchildren, Jsan, Madison, Anthony, Carlito, Athena, Dorian, and Delia; and his great-grandchild, Paris, his sisters, Patricia Ann Patrick-Cato (Roger) and Dianne Lynn, his brothers, Charlie Goldberry (Linda), Phillip P. D. and Chester Lee, Ex-wife; Gwendolyn Patrick. Special acknowledgment is given to his uncle, Newell Clay; bonus daughter, Charlene Wilkowski; and special friend, Sharon Terry-Watts. Percy also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Percy Patrick, Jr., will lie in repose on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm - 4:00pm.
Celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan. Family hour will begin at 10:30am and the service will immediately start at 11:00am. Interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery immediately after the service.
