Peter Andrew Walker was born on June 29, 1963 in Pontiac, Michigan, to Laura Lee & James S. Walker, Sr.  He was the nineth of 11 children.

Peter attended the Pontiac School System including Alcott, Bagley, Jefferson and Pontiac Central High School.  He worked at Michigan Barricade and then as a handyman and Automotive Laborer.  He had many friends, but his favorite thing to do was being with his daughter, Laniyah.

Peter Andrew Walker departed this life on March 2, 2021, he leaves to cherish his memory his loving daughter, Laniyah Conley, his sisters, Ruthie (Henry) Winfield, Rosealean Walker, Laura Walker-Torres all in Pontiac, Michigan, Mildred (Kevin) Feagins in Illinois, brothers, James S. Walker, Jr., and Leo H. Walker all in Pontiac, Michigan, aunts, Mrs. Mary Kendrick, Mrs. Claudette Nevils, Mrs. Anne Mems, Mrs. Shirley Wims, and Mrs. Valarie Wims, one uncle John (Betty) Wims and his great-aunt, Mrs. Estelle Marshall.   Also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

Peter Adrew Walker was preceded in death by his parents Laura Lee and Rev. James S. Walker, Sr., grandparents,  Ruth and Rev. Hugh Wims, four brothers, James W. Walker, John W. Walker, John F. Walker and Junie Walker and two nephews.

Mr. Walker will lie in repose on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Cobb's Funeral Home, family hour will start at 10 a.m. prior to the service.

As a global concern about Coronavirus (COVID-19) begins  to  have a impact on our community, we are taking necessary steps to ensure the safety of the families we serve and the community in general.  Some families are making the decision to postpone services while others have opted to move forward with a small gathering of close family and friends.

It is Cobb's Funeral Home policy, which lines up with the restrictions of our governor, Gretchen Whitmer, that all gatherings are limited to 20 people with a distance of 6 feet.
