Mr. Robert Lee Powell, Jr – age 86- gained his wings on Sunday, September 2 ^nd , 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Powell will lie in state at Cobb's Funeral Home on Friday, September 7 ^th , 2018, and may be viewed between the hours of 12pm and 8pm. Family hour for Mr. Powell will be September 8 ^th , 2018 at 10:30 am at New Mt. Moriah International Baptist Church, at 313 E. Walton Blvd, Pontiac, MI 48340, with funeral service commencing immediately after at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Elder Barbara Felder, Interment will be held at Perry Mount Cemetery at 878 N. Perry St, Pontiac, immediately after service.

Mr. Powell leaves to cherish his loving memory, his children: Evangeline (Dinky) Long, Belinda (Doll) Powell, Robert (Pokey) Powell, Gwendolyn Green, Yolanda (Carla) Powell, DelLisa Powell, Myron (TC) Powell, Alicia, (Brandon) Bower, and Dylan Moore. Mr. Powell left behind 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. His siblings Willie and Azell Powell.

Mr. Powell was proceeded in death by his parents Evergreen and Robert Powell, his children Butch Webb, Chester (Money) Powell, Vincent (Leon) Powell, Tonya Dinkins and Kristal Carthone, also his siblings, Nettie Williams, Jimmy, J.C., Sammy Powell, Lois Kerksey, Randy and Sadie Gee.
