Robert L. Woods-Dixon aka "Head" was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana,  the third child born to the union of Waylon and Willie D. (Woods) Ferguson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings; Waylon, Jr., "Chico" and Terry Woods.

At the age of nine, Robert moved to Pontiac with his family, he attended Pontiac Public Schools.  He obtained an Associates Degree in Dental and drug alcohol abuse counselor, at Jackson Community College.

Robert accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age.  He enjoyed playing pool, watching games, spending time with family and he loved to dress.

Robert made his transition on July 28, 2024, he leaves to cherish his memory, his siblings; Mary and Keith Woods, goddaughter; Deondra Dixon, special niece; Mya, special nephews; Courtney and Marlon Woods.  Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives in Louisiana, North Carolina, California and Pontiac, Michigan, and dear friends.

He will lie in repose on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Ochard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 3:00pm - 7:00pm.

Celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will begin at 12:00pm and the service will immediately start at 12:30pm.  Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan.
