Rolen Joseph Bourgeois, Sr. – age 80 passed away Friday, March 13, 2026, at his home.

Mr. Bourgeois leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Norine Bourgeois; children: Lashonda Lewis and Rolen Bourgeois, Jr.; sister, Amy Washington, sister in law, Barbara (Dale) Humphrey, brother in law, Norman White and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Bourgeois was preceded in death by his son Edwand Bourgeois; parents: Jules and Bessie Bourgeois; sisters: Shirley Weaver, Ethel Watkins and Doris Jones.

Mr. Bourgeois will lie in state at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 512 Pearsall, Pontiac, Michigan, on Thursday, March 26, 2026, and may be viewed between the hours of 12:00 p.m. -  6:00 p.m.

Family hour will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 512 Pearsall, Pontiac, Michigan with the funeral commencing immediately at 11:00 am.  Pastor Terrance J. Gowdy, officiating. Interment, will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Rd, Holly, Michigan.
