Rosa Mae Thompson was born in Delhi, Louisiana, on January 16, 1945, she resided inPontiac, Michigan. Rosa was the third child of 14 siblings, born to the late Willie and MamieThompson. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and eight siblings: Clara Lee, William Thompson, Wilbert Thompson, AC Thompson, Amos Thompson, Anniedoll Grant, Alberta Simpson, Carlotta Thompson
Rosa was a cheerful-charitable giver, trustee, and faithful member of Bible Fellowship Christian Church: under the leadership of District-Elder Charles E. Thompson, in Pontiac, Michigan.
Rosa leaves a legacy of love to her niece Francesse; whom she was an aunt and mother, too.Her five siblings; Tony Thompson, Roberta (Jerry) Tucker, Charles (Alicia) Thompson, Nettie (Dennis) Walker, and Jacqueline (Glenn) Seals. Also, generations of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and a host friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm - 6:00pm.
Celebration of Rosa's Life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Clinton Street Greater Bethlehem Temple 2900 W. Chicago Blvd, Detroit, Michigan. Family hour will begin at 10:00am and the service will promptly start at 11:00am.
