Mother Rosie Hicks (Mrs. Rochelle) 86, of Pontiac, MI, transitioned from her earthly labor to her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 13, 2026 at Trinity Health Hospital with her family by her side.

Mother Hicks was born May 9, 1940 in Uniontown, AL, to the union of Annie Mae Wilson-Dial and Buck Johnson and raised by Benjamin Dial.  She was a graduate of Dunbar High School Bessemer, AL

Rosie dedicated over 30 years of service to Pontiac General Hospital, working in the Security Department. Her life and legacy are being celebrated by her beloved family. Rick Dial of Houston, TX; Darrell (Yvette) Johnson of Pontiac MI; Hope Johnson of Conyers GA; Alonis Johnson of Youngstown, OH; Tiffany Johnson of Pontiac, MI; Stepchildren Heather Randolph of Pontiac MI and Cedric Randolph of Jackson, Tennessee. 11 grandchildren and 7 great children
