Mother Ruth Evelyn Hutchons of Davisburg, Michigan, made her transition on August 8, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Those who knew Ruth will forever remember her gentle spirit, her warm smile, and her ability to make everyone feel loved and welcomed.  She was a prayer warrior, a nurturer, and a guiding light to all who crossed her path.

Ruth was united in marriage to the late Willie Sr., and together they raised a beautiful and loving family.  She was the proud mother of Randy, Michael, Rueben, Phillip, Roger, Andre, Daryl, and Jayson.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Willie Sr., her parents, her sons Willie Jr., James, Charlie, Dennis and her only daughter Denise.  She was the oldest sister to Virgina Smith and Kathleen (Kathy) Page.

Celebration of Life Services

•    Viewing: Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Cobbs Funeral Home, 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan.

•    Funeral Service: Friday, August 22, 2025, at Welcome Missionary Baptist Church.143 Oneida St. Pontiac, Michigan.  Family  hour will begin at 10:30AM and the service will immediately start at 11:00AM.  Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan.
