Sandra Louise Stewart was born on December 2, 1948, the eldest daughter of eight children, born to the union of Freddie and Mittie Reynolds of Pontiac, Michigan.

As a young girl, Sandra accepted Christ at an early age.  Mittie would have it no other way, as all of her children attended Sunday school every week.  Church was the family only outing.  If church was missed, you stayed inside the remainder of the week.

Sandra (known as Sister) was very smart through out school. Sandra was educated throughout Pontiac school district.  She participated with the Journalism team, served as secretary of the Blue Riverettes because she had such beautiful penmanship at Jefferson Jr. High School. Sandra could dance and roller skate as a young girl.  After high school she received an Dental Assistant certification where she worked for a number of years.

Sandra learned to cook just as well as her mother.  Some of her name to fame dishes were; candied yams, pot roast, rice pudding, and her delicious homemade lemon pie were the family favorites.

Sandra was preceded in death by her late husband, Larry Stewart; son, Kevin Thompson; parents, Freddie Reynolds Sr.; Harvey and Mittie Gomillion; grandparents John Redmond and Fannie Edwards; brothers, Freddie Jr. & Steve Reynolds; sisters, Constance (Connie) Reynolds; Rhonda (Casey) Gomillion; & Vivian Pembroke.  Special longtime love James Kincaid.

Sandra leaves to cherish her memory and legacy, her son, Stacey (Jackie) Reynolds, daughters; LaRai (Kerry) Stewart-Jenkins, Shamitra Stewart, daughter-in-law; Mitzi Thompson, Eleven grandchildren, Thirteen great- grandchildren.  Sisters; Mona Lisa (Ronnie) McNeir, Rochelle Macklin of Bloomfield Hills and Shanette Reynolds.  Special niece Stephanie Pembroke and Special nephews; Lewis (Wesley) McNeir & DeAndre Gomillion and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
