Selma (Craft) Causey was born to the union of Warren and Julie Craft on June 25, 1923, in Tylertown, MS and on August 31, 1947, she married the love of her life Walter Causey. Selma went to sleep in the Lord on the morning of June 20, 2018. Mother Selma Causey leaves a long legacy of kingdom building, soul winning, prayer ministry, missionary work, church fund raising and Home Mission leadership for thirty (30) years with the Northern District Council for the State of Michigan, Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW), Inc.
She was preceded in death by her: loving parents (Warren & Julie Craft); her devoted husband (Walter Causey, Sr.); her eldest son (Walter Earl Causey); her siblings: Sidney Craft, New Orleans, LA; Hurley Craft, New Orleans, LA; Pletto Craft, New Orleans, LA; Addie Cowart, Mount Hope, MS; Jessie Cowart, New Orleans, LA; Rev. Preston Craft, Los Angeles, CA; Olivia Causey, Tylertown, MS and Clammie Craft-Williams, New Orleans, LA.
She leaves to cherish her memory a very faithful and loving daughter: Brenda A. Causey-Mitchell, Pontiac, MI, and three sons: LaFrance (Diane) Causey, Pontiac, MI; Karry (Deanna) Causey, New Orleans, LA, Garry (Karla) Causey, Albuquerque, NM; daughter-in-law, Sheila Causey of Pontiac, MI; 13 Grand Children; 11 Great-Grand Children; 6 Great-Great Many Special God-Daughters & God-Sons and a host of relatives and friends.
