Sherman E. McLaurin, Jr., of Pontiac, Michigan, departed this life on September 21, 2024, he was preceded in death by his parents; Sherman E. McLaurin, Sr., and Bertha Gibson of Gloster, Mississippi, his wife; Robertine McLaurin and brother; Lacey Andrews.

Sherman received his education through Gloster, Mississippi School System.  After relocating to Pontiac, Michigan, he gained employment through Pontiac General Motors and retired after 25 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his stepchildren; Ann, Sean and Delmonti Randall, his sister; Joan Ross, nieces; Pam & Paula Ross and LaWanda Tye.

Mr. McLaurin will lie in repose on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Ochard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, 12:00pm - 4:00pm.  Services will be held in Gloster, Mississippi.
