Terry Lance Phlegm was born on April 21, 1967 in  Pontiac,  Michigan to Ollie Gauff Phlegm and Douglas Phlegm.  Terry attended Pontiac Northern High School and was an avid animal lover.

Terry served with distinction during the Persian Gulf War aboard the USS Missouri.  For his actions, he received the National Defense Service Medal, Southeast Asia service medal with 2 stars, Navy Unit commendation, Sea service deployment ribbon, Kuwait liberation medal and Navy "g" ribbon.

Terry was called home on May 10, 2019.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his siblings, Herman K. Phlegm, Ivy Chism and Petrie Phlegm as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Ollie Phlegm and his sister Marie Phlegm.

Mr. Phlegm will lie in repose on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.  He will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Road., Holly, Michigan on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at  9 a.m.
