Thaddeus "Thad" Revere Jamison was born on January 31, 1959, the son of the late Solomon and Maggie Jamison; he departed this life on September 30, 2025.

Thaddeus was a member of Greater McCalvery Missionary Baptist Church, where he fellowshipped weekly.

Education: Thaddeus graduated from Durham Public Schools, Durham, North Carolina, where he was a member of the Basketball Team.  After high school, Thaddeus pursued his education at Piedmont Community College and graduated from North Carolina Central University in 1981, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology.

Career endeavors included Director, CNS Healthcare, "Our House ClubHouse", in addition, Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist, Southfield, Michigan; Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist - Lead Counselor, Duke University, Durham,

Thaddeus leaves to cherish many fond memories of his family, Shammona Thomas,  (Burlington, North Carolina), Faith Thomas Lewis (Greensboro, North Carolina), Georgenia Thompson (Pontiac, Michigan), Jonathan and (Reddick) Gordon ( Red Oak, Texas), LaDorias Thompson-Gordon (Durham, North Carolina), extended family, Thomasina Archer, eight grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held on November 1, 2025, at 12:00 pm, Greater McCalvary Missionary Baptist Church, Pontiac, Michigan.
