Thomas James Williams, Sr. of Pontiac, Michigan departed this life on September 25, 2019.  Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents; Chester Lee Williams & Janie B. Williams, his son; Michael Stevens, his siblings; Wilbert Williams, Bonnie C. Williams, Chester Williams, Earl Williams, Willie G. Williams, Shelia Mills, Lavaughn Williams and Nathaniel Williams.

Mr. Williams was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama by his parents, and later moved to Middletown, Ohio where he graduated from high school.   He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching football and reading.  He worked as a security guard and retired from DSW, he attended Franklin Road Church of Christ in Pontiac, Michigan until he became ill.

Mr. Williams leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Virginia G. Williams, his children; Sylvester (Vickie) Williams, Thomas (Dorothy) Williams, Jr., Joshua (Deidre) Williams, Paul A.Williams, Sr., Andrea (Donald) Bumpous, Natasha Williams, his sister, Janie (Pashu) Christy, fourteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three sisters-in-laws, Portia Williams, Margaret Williams, Patricia Ann Williams and survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Mr. Williams will lie in repose on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan, from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.    Thomas James Williams, Sr.'s Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Franklin Road Church of Christ 1400 Franklin Road, Pontiac, Michigan.   The family hour will begin at 10:30 a.m.
