With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tieree Tamar Powell, who departed this life on July 1, 2026, at the age of 24.

Born on September 22, 2001, Tieree was raised in Pontiac, Michigan, where he attended the Pontiac school system.  He developed a strong interest in automotive repair and interior painting, displaying both creativity and a willingness learn.  Known for his quick wit and sharp mind, Tieree loved spending time playing video games and sharing laughs with those around him.

Tieree was a natural jokester who enjoyed pulling pranks on unsuspecting family members and bringing joy to every gathering.  His warm spirit, sense of humor, and love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

Tieree passed alongside three of his favorite people Zakiera, Nalani, and Karter after spending cherished time together as a family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Catherine Marion Neavins, and is survived by his loving family, including his son, Tieree Powell; his father, Melvin Neavins; and his siblings, Yvette, Candace, Brandy, Albert, Dasha, Devrionta, Annessa, and Kwandell. He also leaves behind his three nieces, Hailey, Hope, and Nylah, along with a host of extended siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Tieree will lie in repose on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard  Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 2:00pm - 8:00pm.

Celebration of Tieree Life will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church 123 Wesson St. Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will begin at 10:00am and the service will promptly start at 11:00am.  Interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan, immediately after the service.
