Umeka Lashon Burton Age 50 of West Bloomfield, MI, departed this life on May 11, 2024, at Henry Ford Hospital West Bloomfield, MI., surrounded by family.  She was preceded in death by her parents; James, Sr., and Barbara Burton, siblings; Veronica, Demetrius and Robbie Burton.

Umeka leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughter, Zariah Perkins, Brothers; James Jr (Chaunda) and Anthony Burton, nieces and nephews; Kizzy (John) Owens, Demetrius Davis, James, III, Taryn, Danyell and Anthony Burton, Jr., Special great nieces and nephews; Na'kiya and Remidee Davis, L.J. (John), Olivia Owens, Tristan Rutherford, Fiancee Jeffrey Adams and Sister Friends; Carmen Stratton and Chetel.  Also survived by a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and other loving relatives and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Monday May 20, 2024, at 3:00PM, at the Bloomfield Hills Cooperative (Charles Lane) Club House Located at 155 Charles Ln, Pontiac, MI 48341.
