Valerie Kay (Rogers) Curtis of Pontiac, Michigan departed this life on February 27, 2019.   She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Sylvia Rogers, she leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Sammy Lee Curtis, children; Sammie Lee (Crystal) Rogers of Las Vegas, NV., Carl Lendell Rogers of Pontiac, Michigan., Dwayne Bulter of Benton Harbor, MI., Maggie Ricks of Benton Harbor, MI., and Samuel Curtis of Benton Harbor, MI., grandmother of twenty, and great-grandmother of three.  Siblings, Letitia (Charles) Joyner, Cynthia (Johnnie) Keyes, Leslie Lightner, Beverly Rogers and William Rogers, Jr. all of Pontiac, Michigan.   Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.  She was a retired Bus Driver from Benton Harbor School District.

Valerie Kay (Rogers) Curtis will lie in repose on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.   Memorial Service's for Valerie Kay (Rogers) Curtis be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Cobb's Funeral Home.  The family will meet with friends at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
