Vernell Everett of Maimi, Florida departed this life on March 1, 2022.   Direct burial will take place at Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11 a.m.  Family and friends will meet at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan at 10:30 a.m.

Vernell was preceded in death by his parents; Isaac and Wiletta Everett, his wife; Dorothy Lee Everett, his son; Alton Everett and step-daughter; Francis Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his sons; John Henry Everett and Jerry Everett, stepchildren; Alfreda Butler and Edward Youngblood, brothers; Charles Everett and Henry Everett,  sisters; Viola Strowbridge, Nettie Hill and Gurtha Bell.   Also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
