William McKinley Hatchett of West Bloomfield, Michigan made his transition on February 12, 2023.  Attorney Hatchett was preceded in death by his parents; Frank Hatchett, Sr., and Elsie Hatchett, his siblings; Franky Lee Hatchett, Linda Creggitt, Catherine Ford, Florence Rollins and his nephew; Derrick Grays.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his Wife, Celeste Orse-Hatchett, his children;Tameche, Bonita (Jeffrey L. Bodie), Krystal (Karl Robert Naumann), William and Khari, stepson Joe (Celeste), siblings; Dr. Minnie Rose Hatchett, Elsie Hatchett, Gwendolyn Hatchett-Robinson, Frank Hatchett, Jr., and Theodore Hatchett, grandchildren; Alynn, William, III, Max (Krystal) and Maeve Greer,  step-granddaughter; Kennedy (Joey).  Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

Bill will be sorely missed by all, but we endeavor to keep his spirit alive by continuing his commitment to social justice and enbracing others.

Memorial Services for Attorney William "Bill" Hatchett will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 12 Noon at Welcome Missionary Baptist Church, located at 143 Oneida St., Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour starts at 11:30am.
