Yvette Machelle Keyes was born on November 11, 1963 to the union of her parents; John and Barbara Williams.  On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, the good Lord decided her purpose in this life was satisfied.  He released her from all pain and called his angel back to heaven, with her loving smile and beautiful spirit, to gain her wings.

Yvette unequivocally loved her family and was well loved in return.  She was a devoted wife to James Keyes, Jr., an amazing mom to; Artis, James, III, London, Quinton, Sherika, Mia (Donte) Lacy, Sr., and Paris, an adoring Mimi to; Myla, Donte, Jr., Devon and Aiden, a caring daughter to Barbara Williams and John Williams, the favorite sister to Kiesha, Jeffrey, Derrick and John, a second daughter to a very special friend, Carolyn D. Hadley.  She also leaves to cherish her memory; a father-in-law, James Keyes, Sr. (Dorothy); brother-in-laws; Donald (Lisa) and Michael Keyes; sister-in-laws, Patricia (Carl) Dorris and Mia (Jordan) Warren.  Also survived by a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Sherry and her step-mother Amanda Williams.

Visitation for will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Cobb's Funeral Home151 Orchard Lake Road in Pontiac, Michigan, from 3:00pm until 7:00pm.

The Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, family hour will begin at 10:00am and Services at 11:00 am at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church 123 Wesson St. Pontiac, Michigan, followed by Interment at White Chapel in Troy, Michigan.
